Mr. Olmstead

I hope you will excuse me for requesting you to pay the postage. The idea was suggested to me by another person. You was perfectly right in expecting me to pay for once but it came in a moste unproptious time as I was ~ and am still very much hurryed in the millenary business. I was surprised and some what irritated to think that men of business should be so careless and after so many years should come on me for a claim of 13.63 and I nearly a stranger to them ~~ but thank fortune I still have more than a dozen receipts from L.M. Stevens which I can show you if you wish but have not time to copymore than the one you think unpaid. I do not attach any blame to you far from it and if I wrote in a disrespectful way pray forgive me.

Respectully yours
Catharine Stebbins
