This forenoon I sent Pa off with 7 bbl of pears, then I warshed dryed the clothes churned canned too cans of pears, & ironed some etc.

To day Joshua & Rettie and Allen and Willie came up to help Pa hay etc I;ve called to see Mrs. Worden.

To day we attendid the Farmer’s picnic In Mr. Sleights  grove. Mr. Vincent came after me to night to pick hops.

Nice day & we commenced picking hops. Splendid night out.

To day Hattie went to the Fair, the rest picked hops. This afternoon It rained & hailed quite hardy.
